European Parliament

In autumn 2008, the Foundation organized a special exhibition: over 40 Himalayan treasures of art were exhibited in the heart of Europe: in the European Parliament in Brussels. Under the title "Timeless Values", the exhibits from Tibet, Nepal and India, some of which were hundreds of years old, took visitors into a fascinating world. All shown Buddha aspects express ideal spiritual qualities: e.g. love, compassion, wisdom and joy. At the opening, led by Lama Ole Nydahl at the beginning of October 2008, the international audience as well as parliamentarians and guests of honor were deeply impressed.
