Meditating Together in the Czech Republic
Vyhlidky is a a buddhist center of Karma Kagyu lineage under the spiritual guidance of HH 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje and Lama Ole Nydahl. A group of Lama Ole’s students found and bought the property in 1999 and a year later extensive reconstruction of the building started. The centre regularly organizes lectures, small courses and meditation weekends with travelling teachers for up to 100 people. Thanks to art studios constructed on the premises, the preservation of Buddhist Art of the Karma Gadri tradition and traditional ways of filling and painting statues are taking place. Our center offers ideal conditions for all practitioners who want to come for a few days and focus on meditation.
